KIDs J.A.M. (Jesus
and Me)
Children’s Ministry:
Dear
Families,
I
look around at all the little children we have and see the smiles and hugs
and love they have to give and it makes me feel so good inside. I hope that
you take the time to see those smiles and listen to those stories and look
at things they have accomplished for the day. You will get such a blessing
from a smile or a hug and that story they just told you. Just to see their
smiles when you acknowledge them and what project they accomplished will not
only make your day but it will make your week! Did you know that God placed
those children in our paths to show them how great and mighty
He is? Vacation Bible
School is coming up and we will have so many children that we will come in
contact with. You never know what kind of home they will be coming from so I
hope that we can show our God mighty to them while we have them with us. I
read this poem and I would like to share it with you. I hope that it touches
you the way it did me. I pray this will encourage you to live out Gods love
in front of our children.
Children Learn What They Live
If a child lives with criticism, he believes in criticizing.
If a child lives with hostility, he believes in bullying
others.
If a child lives with ridicule, he believes he is not
loveable.
If a child lives with shame, he believes he is at fault.
If a child lives with tolerance, he believes in the rights of
others.
If a child lives with encouragement, he believes he can try
again.
If a child lives with praise, he believes in saying “thank
you”.
If a child lives with fairness, He believes in justice.
If a child lives with security, he believes the world is
safe.
If a child lives with approval, he believes he is worthwhile.
If a child lives with acceptance and friendship, he believes
in love.
If a child lives with parents who have faith, he believes in
God.
We can all
take part in this; grandparents, teachers, friends etc…We all have a part in
some child’s life at some time or another. It’s up to you whether that part
is positive or negative.
When you
touch a child, you touch the future.
God Bless,
Julie
